Annie St. Claire, President and Principal Designer for Through the Woods Design, has over 18 years experience designing custom residential landscapes throughout greater L.A.
Annie is a licensed general contractor (License #876838), and a graduate of UCLA’s Landscape Architecture program. Her designs have been featured at the Pasadena Showcase House of Design and several times on HGTV’s Landscapers Challenge.
Annie talks about her design philosophy:
“The first thing I do with a landscape design project is to really find out what the client wants, what they are trying to achieve with their landscaping. Once I have that clearly in mind, I try to elevate that garden to a work of art within the parameters of what the client wants. I also try to make the design work completely within the surroundings and mesh perfectly with them. Our goal is to create a beautiful garden that looks like it has always been there.”
